The Gender Policy green paper was laid in Parliament today. Copies were not available for non-MPs, but Minister of Community Development, Culture & Gender Affairs Marlene McDonald solicited public comment and indicated that the paper would be available to the public through her Ministry and the government’s online portal, ttconnect.
As soon as gspottt is able to complete our analysis of the paper, we’ll be sure to share it with you here.
Sept. 5. Newsday reports today on the green paper, noting that the document will also be published in the papers.
Sept. 14. Copies of the green paper are available from the Library at the Ministry’s Jerningham Ave. main office. They’ll look at you suspiciously, ask you why you want it and ask you for your name, contact and organization.
PDF files of the main policy document and three other June 2007 documents describing its formulation, an action plan and a situational analysis are now available for download from a specially created Ministry website. The main document remains available through ttconnect.
